Noteworthy

On the drive home from school, the following conversation took place.

Olyvia: Mami, Mami

Me: Yes, Lyv

Olyvia: When are you getting married?

Me: I'm already married.

Olyvia: Where did you get married?

Me: On the beach.

Olyvia: Mami, you can't get married at the beach! (stated in a "duh, mami" voice)

Me: Why not?

Olyvia: Because you have to get married where it's dry. (very matter a fact voice)

Me: Well, I married Daddy on the beach.

Olyvia: No, you have to get married again in your wedding dress where it's dry!

Me: Okay.

I love our conversations!

I am incredibly blessed for my husband's stewardship,
his strength, his faith, and his courage.
I promise that throughout our life, I will find new ways to tell him the many ways that I dearly love him.
He is truly a wonderful man.

Pumpkin Patch

This week has really felt like the beginning of fall, mostly because of the change in temperature. Also, because people around town are starting to put out autumn and halloween decorations already (seems a bit early for the Halloween stuff).

Well, a local church set up a pumpkin patch near a friend's house, and it opened today; so, we headed down there to check out the happennings.

King of the pumpkins! Well, not the biggest, but the best looking one.

Say "cheese!"

We all had a great time walking through the patch, and Lyv eventually collected about a dozen different pumpkins. Of course, she only took home 2 tiny ones. She was a little upset about the giant pumpkin, until she realized that it was for mommy and daddy and her to carve later. Hope you enjoyed our trip to the Pumpkin Patch.

Honey Honey

Honey is a staple in our home. We love, love, LOVE honey. I do believe that Olyvia loves it the most, though.

Pretty Roses

Earlier this week, Steve took Olyvia to the play area at the mall. They came back bearing these beautiful roses as a surprise! I have the best husband and daughter in the world.
